CPH, FAROE ISLANDS AND ICELAND!
Fjord fanatic that I am, a more thorough exploration of Iceland as well as the Faroe Islands has been on my radar for a while. It can be hard to find travel buddies who are interested in heading north for the winter, but luckily my dear old friend Anna from Minnesota was game to explore these wild places with me.
We started with two days in Copenhagen where I got to catch up with my two guest sisters from high school, Anja and Lula. From there Anna and I spent the better part of four days driving around the Faroe islands. After the Faroes, we spent ten days driving clockwise around Iceland, finally ending with six days in downtown Reykjavik for my absolute favorite music festival the world over: Iceland Airwaves.
I didn’t take many photos of Reykjavik or the festival, as I was committed to just enjoying the music for myself. The following photos are mostly of Iceland and the Faroes, in no particular order. Photo credit for most of the car shots go to Anna, and the rest are taken by me. If you have questions about any of the places pictured, please drop me a line and I’ll do my best to remember a bit about the place. I did also take a few soundscapes along the way, that hopefully I will get around to posting soon too!
